Abstract

Port Harcourt Journal of African Musical Arts and Humanities (PHJAMAH) is a peer reviewed journal published by the Department of Music, University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. The journal offers a platform for scholars to contribute original researched works which are received and published annually. PHJAMAH welcomes contributions from well researched theoretical and empirical papers with focus on reviews, developments in cultural trends which may not be limited to African musical arts, theories and practices in performing/ creative arts, history and related issues in arts and humanities. Papers submitted for publication must be original works which have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
