THE BIOGRAPHY OF THE MOST HONORABLE PROPHET FROM THE BUR’DAH OF SHARAF

Abstract

The life of the most honourable Prophet Muhammad (May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) is replete with lessons and morals. His biography encompasses both faith -based stances and educational events. Therefore, scholars have devoted themselves to study his biography and it has been incorporated into school curricula, beginning with kindergarten. Linguists and poets have participated in documenting the Prophet’s biography, including Imam Sharafuddeen Al-Busoyry, who enriched his eulogies of the Prophet, particularly his famous poem “Bur’dah”, with the Prophet’s biography. Hence, this research examines "The Biography of the Most Honorable Prophet from the Bur’dah of Sharaf.  "The paper aims to highlight the historical and religious values of Imam Al-Busoyry's poem "The Bur’dah," and to uncover the Prophet's biography in its content. This paper consists an introduction and a preface discussing the poem Bur’dah and its author, seven chapters arranged according to the lines of the poem and a conclusion with recommendation followed by references. The paper use both inductive and descriptive methods for study and analysis in order to achieve its setting aims and objectives.
