ELECTORAL JURISPRUDENCE AND TECHNOLOGY: ANALYZING BVAS, IReV AND THE FUTURE OF ELECTION PETITIONS IN NIGERIA

Abstract

This article argues that Nigeria currently occupies an unstable middle ground: technological infrastructure exists, but jurisprudential frameworks remain inadequate, and the Electoral Act 2026, while progressive, contains structural deficiencies that will generate litigations in 2027.
